From developers and landowners to local authorities and housebuilders, they collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver planning consents for some of the most exciting schemes in the built environment across the UK.

THE ROLE

The role will offer the right candidate a great career opportunity to work within a busy, successful growing team in London's West End. Successful candidates will on a variety of projects - large and small, specialising in Residential and Commercial Development schemes across London and the South East. A core element of our client's residential work is both at the delivery stage acting for national housebuilders, but also at the strategic land promotion stage, working on behalf of land owners, promoters, landed estates and housebuilders.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare advice to clients;
* Working both alone and with team members to develop planning strategies; to prepare programmes and review information;
* Drafting and/or reviewing reports, co-ordinating the preparation and submission of planning applications/ appeals and representations.
* Supporting business development opportunities
* Providing planning advice to clients and attending meetings

THE DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
* A keen interest in planning and development;
* A client-focussed outlook
* Full RTPI membership
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent analytical ability;
* Self-motivated
