My specialism:

Recruiting General Practice RICS Surveyors in the South West and South Wales. I also recruit nationally for executive level opportunities within Real Estate.

Clients that I work with:

I recruit RICS accredited surveyors for global property consultancies, property companies, developers, investors and institutions as well as initiating team and small company acquisitions. This includes surveyors working in the following disciplines: Agency, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Development, Property & Estate Management, Lease Consultancy and Valuation. I also recruit in niche and alternative asset classes such as Student, Hotels, Healthcare, Build to Rent etc.

What keeps me motivated:

The satisfaction of creating a new opportunity for someone is very motivating especially if it’s an off-market piece of recruitment. I’m also genuinely motivated by developing new business relationships and recruitment partnerships.

What I do differently:

I believe in a positive and supportive work culture with a focus on wellbeing and teamwork, which often results in high achievement.

What keeps me busy at the weekend:

Running around looking after my young children mainly. I have hiked the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia, The South West Coastal Path and Grampian Mountains in Scotland. I also like keeping fit in the gym, running and I enjoy sport - cricket, tennis, paddle boarding and rugby. I also like socialising and seeing my friends and family when time allows!

My approach to recruitment:

I like to understand and listen to clients and I welcome an honest, open conversation. My approach to recruitment centres on my network of contacts and knowledge of the sector.

My favourite meal:

Green Thai Curry.

My favourite film:

Its difficult to choose one as I'm a big fan but recent favourites are two sci-fi films, Prometheus and Inception.

My favourite drink:

Tribute pale ale from Cornwall.

My favourite travel destinations:

The Cornish coast, or Tuscany, especially the Siena and Florence region.

Not many people know this about me:

My Auntie Helen was Prime Minister of New Zealand for ten years.
