A highly successful international property consultancy has recently instructed Beach Baker to recruit an Associate Director in Lease Consultancy to sit in their Leeds office to offer National coverage to a wide range of clients.

- Strong instructions and key clients across office, industrial and retail sectors.
- Integration with other teams locally and nationally to offer wider support.

- Key responsibilities:
- Manage a well-established portfolio of national clients.
- Analyse and summarise lease agreements.
- Conduct property inspections.
- Prepare pre-negotiation reports for advisory services, compiling relevant evidence.
- Negotiate rent reviews, lease renewals, surrenders, and re-gears on behalf of clients (landlords or tenants depending on the situation).
- Generate reports for third-party referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Responsibility and ownership of managing own buildings.
- Liaising directly with the client's asset management and finance teams.
- Due diligence for acquisitions and disposals.
- Expert Witness experience would be a benefit.
- Due Diligence on the acquisition and disposal of leasehold interests
- Acting as Third Party; Independent Expert or Arbitrator in resolving rental valuation disputes

Candidate:
MRICS qualified with 5 years post qualification experience in Lease Consultancy. The individual's character and drive for success is of key importance.
