My specialism:

Town Planning. I recruit for positions ranging from graduate to equity partner level on a permanent, temporary and interim basis within the town planning sector.

My approach to recruitment:

My three main values are professionalism; honesty and dedication. I am always organised in my approach (a little OTT sometimes!) which means both parties are always well informed and benefit from my years of experience and contacts.

What I do differently:

I treat candidates and clients how I would want to be treated myself (which means I never send CV’s without permission, always respect confidentiality and work really hard for both parties). I take the time to really get to know my candidates and clients which means I am able to bring together great matches not only on paper but also culturally.

Clients that I work with:

I act on behalf of a wide range of clients including planning consultancies, design consultancies, architectural firms, private practices, property companies, property consultancies, funds, developers, retailers, local authorities and other government organisations as well as smaller niche independents.

What keeps me motivated:

The satisfaction from seeing people genuinely happy in the roles I have placed them in and seeing businesses grow after investing in my candidates.

What keeps me busy at the weekend:

I am a mum to two young boys which leaves little room for ‘spare time’ but if my husband and I are not chauffeuring them to one of their clubs or at the dreaded soft play, then our weekends are often spent out and about, often to a National Trust or walking our chocolate lab Dexter. I also run a cake design/decorating company which keeps me busy!

My favourite food:

I’m mad about sushi and Asian food but also love a proper home cooked roast dinner.

My favourite eatery:

The best meal I have ever had was at Gidleigh Park when Michael Caines was running the kitchen but other contenders are Casamia in Bristol and The Man Behind the Curtain in Leeds.

My favourite film:

Fave film has to be Kill Bill (but would settle for any Quentin Tarantino!)

My favourite drink:

A good quality Gin or a Diet Coke (but not together!)

My favourite travel destination:

Mexico – great food, great weather and lovely memories of our honeymoon there

Not many people know this about me:

I used to be in a brass band from aged 7yrs old for 7 years! I played the Flugal Horn if anyone is interested.
