Success at the BPAA Tennis Tournament

On Thursday 9th October Daniel St Quintin of Beach Baker took to the court alongside Douglas Wood of Woods Estate Agents to compete in the annual BPAA tennis doubles Tournament, this year sponsored by Veale Wasbrough Vizards.

The games began with round robin group stages and the winners from each group progressed to the semi-finals and then on to the finals. After suffering a loss in the first match thing’s weren’t looking too positive, however Daniel and Doug pulled it back to win the rest of their matches and make it to the final to play against GVA.

The final was a close match between our very own John McEnroe (Daniel), Doug and their fierce GVA competitors but in the end the Beach Baker/Woods Estate agents combination won through, beating GVA 7-5.

Daniel St Quintin, consultant at Beach Baker said "It was a very enjoyable afternoon, playing with Doug made it even more so. Delighted to have won the competition and we will be back next year to no doubt retain our title".
