Tuesday, September 16, 2025

Marie Skuce recently had the pleasure of attending a special evening hosted by Women in Property at the Natural History Museum in London. The event brought together professionals from across the industry to celebrate innovation, science, and the power of connection.

Before the main event, Marie took the opportunity to have a walking meeting with a client—an energising way to catch up and talk business while enjoying the city.

Guests were welcomed into the beautiful Nature Discovery Garden before heading into the iconic Hintze Hall, where Doug Gurr shared a few words about the Museum’s work and the importance of Patron support. Throughout the evening, attendees explored interactive science stations showcasing some truly fascinating research—from the antioxidant properties of blue starfish to air DNA sampling systems and efforts to track bird migration to help prevent engine strikes.

A brass band added a lively touch to the atmosphere, and with food and drinks flowing, it was a relaxed and engaging evening of networking and discovery.

Marie’s attendance reflects Beach Baker’s continued support for industry events that bring people together and shine a light on innovation and collaboration.
