The Bristol Property Agents Boules Competition

This year’s Bristol Property Agents annual Boules competition; sponsored by Beach Baker Property Recruitment took place on Wednesday July 30th with the original date of July 9th being postponed due to awful weather.

Luckily the weather held out all afternoon and it turned out to be a lovely sunny day with a very good turnout. Guy Mansfield of CBRE and Sarah Ogden of DTZ organised the event this year which had 41 teams turn up on the day. 

It was a very successful afternoon with everyone enjoying the sun on the lawn with the accustomed bar and BBQ within the immaculate grounds of the Orangery at Goldney Hall in Clifton.

 

The event attracted a broad range of property professionals and provided an excellent opportunity for networking and for bringing out team’s competitive streak in a series of some very close matches.

Colliers, Burgess Salmon, FMW and Rapleys made it through to the semi-final for the Cup prize resulting in Colliers and Rapleys going head to head in the final. Rapleys clinched the lead and took home the 2008 title prize.

 

AtisReal, ET Parker, DTZ and Bond Pearce fought for the runners up title of the plate competition. AtisReal and DTZ made it through to the final with an extremely close game and a nail biting finish of 7-6 resulting in AtisReal taking home the prize.  

All in all, it was a very enjoyable afternoon played in good spirit with the challenge set for next year!
