About the Role:

We are working with a national private practice who offer consultancy services to a wide range of clients, including developers, investors, landowners, housebuilders, and public sector organisations. With a strong track record of repeat business and recommendations, this team is well-regarded across the North West for its expertise in planning, regeneration, and development consultancy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Planner, Assistant Planner, or a newly qualified Planner to join a highly supportive and thriving environment. The team's work spans a diverse range of projects, including brownfield regeneration, greenfield site developments, master planning, and heritage conservation, and offers exposure to all aspects of planning, from policy and site appraisals to planning applications and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of this team, you will play an integral role in:

  • Conducting planning policy assessments and site appraisals
  • Preparing and managing planning applications
  • Supporting regeneration initiatives
  • Assisting with the preparation of evidence base documents
  • Contributing to local plan promotion and monitoring
  • Engaging with stakeholders and providing public consultation support
  • Assisting in economic and employment impact assessments
  • Negotiating Section 106 agreements and Community Infrastructure Levy matters
  • Supporting expert witness work and planning appeals

What We're Looking For:

This role would suit:

  • An RTPI-accredited planning graduate
  • An Assistant Planner with some work experience
  • A recently qualified Planner
