Beach Baker is delighted to be working on behalf of a leading property consultancy to recruit a Chartered Surveyor for their expanding Valuation Advisory team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and well-established team, delivering high-quality valuation services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
The role offers a blend of office-based work and field inspections, with exposure to strategic advisory projects across Bristol, the South West, and Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Red Book valuations for retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use assets
- Prepare detailed reports for banks, investors, developers, and corporate clients
- Conduct market research and analysis to support valuation assumptions
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends and regulatory changes
- Support business development and contribute to team growth
- Ensure compliance with RICS standards and internal QA procedures
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- MRICS qualified with post-qualification experience in commercial valuation
- Proven track record of delivering Red Book valuations
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
Desirable:
- Experience with development appraisals and investment fund valuations
- Working knowledge of Argus Enterprise
- Familiarity with the South West and South Wales property markets would be excellent.
