Beach Baker is instructed to recruit a qualified Property and Asset Management Surveyor for a leading national firm in Bristol. The Property and Asset Management team within this award-winning company are keen to recruit a candidate who will continue to maximise the value of this varied portfolio via an efficient and effective property management service. Accordingly, the candidate will be responsible for all aspects of management of a diverse portfolio, which includes several major national retailers as clients.
The successful post-holder would be responsible for the daily running of these retail/commercial properties, including handling dilapidations settlements, reviewing and managing the portfolio balance, improve the accuracy of service charge budgeting and recovery, protect existing asset value, reduce property costs and capture value enhancement opportunities.
To join this exciting corporation, the self-motivated candidate must have at least one year of experience of commercial/retail property management. Furthermore, necessary characteristics include good attention to detail, determination and strong communication, numerical and written skills. You will also oversee a property management administrator and be supported but a national team of Facilities and Building Managers allowing you to focus on core surveying work.
