Surveyor / Senior Surveyor/ Associate (General Practice)
Location: Bedfordshire
Beach Baker is working with a well‑established property consultancy to recruit a Surveyor, Senior Surveyor or Associate into their small and highly regarded Commercial Property team. The role offers exposure to all aspects of commercial property with a strong rural focus, including agency, property management, landlord & tenant matters, valuations, rating, and development work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial surveyor with some commercial experience, to join a supportive practice with clear career progression and a genuinely varied workload.

Role Highlights
- Commercial property management including inspections, repairs and maintenance, tenant and contractor liaison, record keeping, and rent arrears
* Commercial sales and lettings, including viewings and preparation of short‑term leases and licences
* Rent reviews, lease renewals, and general landlord & tenant advice
* Involvement in valuations, rating, and development work (depending on experience)
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
* Participation in networking and business development activities
Candidate Profile
- MRICS qualified or actively working towards qualification ideally
* Background in Commercial Property or some commercial exposure
* Good understanding of commercial property agency and management
* High standards of work with the ability to manage deadlines
* A strong team player with the initiative to work independently
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential
* Strong IT skills
