Role: Senior Surveyor - Retail and Leisure
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £40,000- £50,000 plus £4,500 car allowance and commission
Role Overview:
As a key member of this growing valuations team, you'll be entrusted with the responsibility of providing top-notch valuation services within the Retail and Leisure sectors. With a focus on going concern convenience, roadside retail, garden centres and other trading assets valued having regard to trading potential. You will be a key member of this valuation team of experts and be expected to network with banks, investors, accountants, and operators.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough property and business inspections to determine value.
- Drive business growth through proactive outreach and market awareness.
- Responsively address client enquiries and deliver exceptional service.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports in accordance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with key contacts and cross-sell within our network.
- Build enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Relevant qualification / RICS Chartered Status -Essential
- A minimum of one to two years post-qualification experience -Ideally
- Application of appropriate valuation techniques - Essential
- Thorough approach to valuations - Essential
- Report preparation - Essential
- Understanding Accounts and Leases - Ideally
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills - Essential
- Strong IT skills with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Essential
- Knowledge of trade sector and current market trends - Ideally
- Knowledge of relevant legislation - Ideally
