Rural Surveyor & Property Agent

Location: Somerset | Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an ambitious rural surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? A well-established and respected property consultancy in the South West is seeking a Rural Surveyor with 3-5 years' experience to join its growing team.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on position, offering exposure to both rural agency and professional services. You will work across a diverse portfolio of rural property, farms, and land, gaining valuable experience and increasing your autonomy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing rural property sales and lettings
  • Undertaking valuations and professional work
  • Advising on landlord and tenant matters
  • Supporting clients with rural grants, subsidies, and diversification
  • Conducting property viewings and negotiating transactions
  • Building strong, long-term client relationships

You'll be supported by senior colleagues while having the opportunity to develop your own client base and professional profile.


About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated, capable, and eager to progress:

  • 3-5 years' experience in rural surveying or property agency
  • Working towards or recently qualified MRICS (FAAV desirable)
  • Good understanding of the rural property market
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
  • Full UK driving licence
