Senior Rural Chartered Surveyor

Location: Northamptonshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (flexible working available)

The Opportunity

We are working with a leading property consultancy to recruit an MRICS-qualified Senior Rural Chartered Surveyor for their Northamptonshire office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive, multi-disciplinary team with strong career development prospects.

Role Overview

You'll be responsible for delivering a wide range of professional rural surveying services, including:

  • Advising landowners on strategies to maximise land value (option and promotion agreements)
  • Providing guidance on tenancy matters for landlords and tenants
  • Undertaking valuations of rural, residential, and commercial property
  • Assisting with property sales and lettings
  • Managing compensation claims, grants, subsidies, and joint ventures
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Supporting business planning and contributing to financial performance
  • Managing your workload to meet agreed targets

Candidate Profile

  • MRICS qualified and ideally a Registered Valuer
  • Strong understanding of property, land, agriculture, and business matters
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Commercially aware with budget and workload management skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and confident in taking initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • IT proficient
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a business-insured vehicle
