Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a senior or principal planner to join a leading consultancy in Berkshire. This firm have an excellent reputation and a strong client base which will offer you great exposure and experience.

We are seeking MRTPI qualified planners operating at senior or principal planner level (we may consider a strong planner from a private sector background). Your experience will be gained from either the private sector or public sector, although some consultancy experience is preferred. The work will be very varied and will involve a mix of residential, mixed-use, commercial, regeneration and retail work. You should have a good understanding and practical experience of the development management process and be confident in managing small/medium scale projects independently and larger ones with supervision and support. Having experience in a wide range of projects will make this an easier transition but full support will be given in any project areas you have less experience in.

You should have strong report writing, presentation and communication skills as well as being confident in client facing situations. This is a very progressive firm and we are seeking someone who is capable of taking on established clients and building on these relationships.

In reward, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, good progression and excellent client exposure.

To apply for this role please contact Ruth Hoggett. We aim to get back to all applications, however; if you have not received a response within 4-5 working days, please assume your application has been unsuccessful this time round. We will confidentially retain your details and inform you of any other suitable opportunities arising should you not be successful in this role.
