Job Description

A great opportunity is available for a Senior/Principal or Associate level Planner to join an expanding planning consultancy in Birmingham City Centre.

You will be joining a small but established team with an impressive client list of major housebuilders, commercial developers, independent residential developers, property companies and landowners. As the companies workload has significantly increased in the last 12 months, they are at a stage where they are looking to expand and invest in two strong planners with private sector backgrounds to help grow the company and expand upon their already strong reputation.

We are looking to recruit a chartered Town Planner operating around the Senior/Principal/Associate level. The projects this firm work on tend to be residential/mixed-use/strategic in nature so experience in these fields is preferred. For the Associate level, candidates with private sector experience are preferred, ideally from a similar consultancy environment but public sector backgrounds will be considered for the Senior Planner level. Knowledge and experience of the Midlands market is advantageous but relocators will be considered for the right person.

You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package, incentivised bonus scheme, a good selection of projects to work on and access to an established client base. This firm also really recognise the need for work/life balance so can look at a reduced hours week/some flexible working if required.
