A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Heritage Consultant around the Senior/Associate level to join an expanding planning consultancy in London. The company specialises in central London planning work within the residential/mixed-use arena in zones 1-3 and is looking to start an in-house heritage function based on a strong bank of work they currently out-source.
The company currently outsource their heritage work which has steadily increased over the years and is now at a level where they are keen to build an in-house team to cover the work and grow a team. Therefore it is a rare opportunity to build a team with a good basis of work to start with. The existing work is related to residential and mixed-use schemes in central London with arising heritage issues. We are looking for a qualified heritage consultant with experience from the London market, ideally from another private sector environment. We are considering a Senior or Associate level appointment as part of the remit will be to build contacts and utilise existing contacts to build a further pipeline of work. We are flexible on level for the right candidate. This firm are very encouraging of progression and with the heritage department in the start-up stage, it's an excellent time to join and really put your stamp on it. The successful candidate will be client facing, possess strong written and communication skills, a good understanding of the planning process as well as a strong heritage background. You will work well to deadlines and be a strong team player. You will be joining a small but incredibly friendly and supportive team of 5.
