Exciting Opportunity for a Rural Surveyor

A well-established and highly respected property consultancy is seeking an experienced Rural Surveyor to join their team in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing firm that provides expert advice across multiple rural disciplines.

The Role

This position offers a varied and engaging workload, requiring a mix of independent working and collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, possess strong problem-solving skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct valuations for all types of rural property, including inheritance and taxation, acquisitions and sales, and tenant rights.
  • Handle compulsory purchase and compensation claims related to road schemes, utilities, and Part 1 claims.
  • Provide strategic consultancy services in rural and agri-business sectors.
  • Advise on Environmental Land Management and emerging rural opportunities, including renewable energy projects.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation of experience and expertise, including:

  • MRICS qualification
  • CAAV accreditation (or working towards it).
  • Strong knowledge of the rural property market and agricultural landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • High levels of accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
