Rural Surveyor Opportunity

A leading rural property consultancy is seeking a MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor to join their expanding team across Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals passionate about rural land and estate management to work with a diverse client base and contribute to a wide range of high-impact projects.

The Role

As a Rural Surveyor, you'll play a key role in delivering expert advice and services across:

  • Estate management for agricultural, commercial, and residential properties, including natural capital, forestry, and sporting interests.
  • Property consultancy on sales, acquisitions, landlord and tenant matters, compensation claims, servitudes, and wayleaves.
  • RICS Red Book valuations and property appraisals.
  • Renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, solar, battery storage).
  • Strategic land management for both private and public sector clients.
  • Business development and client relationship management.

Candidate Profile

We're looking for individuals who are:

  • MRICS qualified (or working towards qualification with a RICS-accredited degree).
  • Ideally RICS Registered Valuers (not essential).
  • FAAV qualified or working towards it (preferred).
  • Holding a Letting Agent Register compliant qualification (desirable).
  • Strong communicators with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • In possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
