Rural Surveyor - Ayr

Are you an MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity in West Scotland.

This is a fantastic chance to join a respected independent firm specialising in rural business services. You'll work with a diverse client base, including landowners, estates, and rural enterprises, delivering expert advice and building long-term relationships.

About the Role:

You'll take the lead on estate management and contribute to a wide range of rural surveying services, including:

  • Management of agricultural, commercial, and residential property portfolios
  • Consultancy on sales, purchases, landlord/tenant matters, compensation, servitudes, and wayleaves
  • RICS Red Book valuations and property appraisals
  • Advisory work on renewable energy projects (wind, hydro, solar, battery storage)
  • Strategic land management for both private and public sector clients
  • Business development and client relationship management

What We're Looking For:

  • MRICS qualified (or working towards qualification with a RICS-accredited degree)
  • RICS Registered Valuer status preferred (not essential)
  • FAAV membership desirable but not required
  • Letting Agent Register compliant qualification a plus
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
