Beach Baker is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded rural property consultancy to recruit a Rural Chartered Surveyor for its Dorset team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an MRICS-qualified surveyor looking to develop a broad rural practice while building their own specialist expertise and client base. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team delivering a diverse range of valuation, agency and professional consultancy services to farmers, landowners, estates and rural businesses.
The role offers genuine autonomy, significant client exposure and clear long-term career progression, making it particularly attractive to an ambitious surveyor looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
Working closely with senior colleagues and an established client base, responsibilities will include:
- Rural valuations for secured lending, probate, taxation and estate planning purposes
- Supporting rural and farm agency instructions
- Advising on agricultural, residential, commercial and diversification projects
- Providing general professional consultancy advice to rural clients
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Countryside Stewardship and Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) advice
- Compensation, utilities and telecommunications work
This position provides an excellent platform to develop existing client relationships, generate new business opportunities and establish yourself as a trusted adviser within the rural sector.
About You

Essential Requirements
- MRICS qualified
- RICS Registered Valuer
- Full UK Driving Licence

- CAAV qualified or working towards membership
