Beach Baker is proud to be working with a well-established and growing residential surveying practice to recruit an experienced AssocRICS or MRICS Residential Surveyor to join their Gloucestershire-based team.
This role focuses exclusively on Level 2 Home Surveys, providing a consistent and streamlined workload across well-maintained properties typically ranging from 1950s builds through to modern homes.
The Role
You will undertake Level 2 surveys, using an iPad-based reporting system, enabling efficient and structured delivery. The work is regionally focused, covering Stroud, Dursley and Gloucester, ensuring minimal travel and strong local knowledge.
This is a non-valuation role, ideal for a surveyor who enjoys the technical and diagnostic aspects of residential surveying without the pressures of lender work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Level 2 Home Surveys on residential properties
- Inspect properties and produce clear, professional reports via iPad
- Identify defects and provide practical, client-friendly advice
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
- Manage your own diary to meet weekly targets
About You
- AssocRICS or MRICS qualified
- Ideally a minimum 5 years' experience undertaking Level 2 surveys
- Background in residential surveying (e.g. national or regional firms)
- Strong attention to detail and report-writing skills
- Organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously
- Full UK driving licence
