Beach Baker's Facilities Management team is delighted to be working for a reputable property management firm in their search for a Regional Facilities Manager for the Bristol region.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for a mixed-use portfolio including; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Other responsibilities will involve negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives. You will also be accountable for mentoring and managing a small team of Building Managers. Most importantly, my client is seeking a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude to continue building the client relationship and seek out future business opportunities.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. You must have previous experience within a multi-site facilities management role and have a strong understanding of service charge budget management. The ability to coordinate and manage the onsite contractor is essential, as is the capability to negotiate 'best price'. As this portfolio has a strong industrial bias, previous experience in this sector would be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will be a IWFM member and will have worked within a managing agent environment.
