Beach Baker is delighted to be recruiting a Property & Asset Management Surveyor for a first rate global property consultancy in Bristol with ideally 3 days in the office.

The Commercial Property Management team within this award-winning company are keen to recruit a candidate who will continue to maximise the value of this portfolio via an efficient and effective property management service.

We are looking for ideally a RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor who will maintain the excellent record of looking after single assets/portfolios for investors, property companies and blue chip organisations. Their aim is to achieve tight control of day to day activities, which ensure the well being, and value of each property.

The Role

As the successful candidate for this role, you will be responsible for multiple commercial properties and play a key role in building successful relationships with clients, RICS colleagues, facilities managers, property administrators, and the property management accounts teams. You will also be responsible for reviewing and enforcing tenant lease covenant compliance, setting and managing annual maintenance and service charge budgets, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external advisors.

In addition, you will work collaboratively with other departments to enhance the delivery of services and identify other revenue streams. You will contribute to a positive and progressive team/business culture, ensuring that the values of the company are upheld and that high levels of service are maintained.

Experience and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12 months commercial property management experience.
  • RICS accredited degree in Real Estate.
  • Member of RICS, ideally a minimum of 1 years PQE, or graduate with 18 months APC experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to analyse data.
  • Diplomatic with excellent communication skills.
