Beach Baker is delighted to be working with an international, luxury retailer in their search for an experienced Property & Facilities Manager. Based in central London, you will be responsible for three key sites, one of which is fully owned with sub tenants. This is a new role which will require the successful candidate to take ownership of all property and facilities management matters, including; H&S/Compliance, contractor management, budget management (service charge budgets), project management, procurement, lifecycle/maintenance management and communal area management.
An important aspect of this role will be to ensure the business is compliant at all times. Additionally, there are several improvement and replacement projects that need to be addressed. Reporting to the senior management team, you will be accountable for making recommendations for change, improvements and cost savings.
The successful candidate will be a confident and proven Facilities Manager, ideally with experience within the retail sector. Our client is a family business and therefore would suit an individual with an adaptable and flexible character. As this is a new role, we require a candidate with a proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
Preferably, we are seeking a NEBOSH qualified candidate with IWFM membership, exposure to communal area management, listed properties and luxury environments would be an advantage.
