A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a chartered town planner to join one of the leading planning teams in Bristol. You will be joining a key name in the industry boasting a very well-established team working on some of the most exciting projects in the city. You will be based in the centre of Bristol and working in a busy, modern and open plan office.
We are looking for candidates who are MRTPI qualified and who have planning consultancy experience. We can consider strong planners or an existing senior planner for the right person. You will ideally be working within the Bristol/South West planning market already although relocators may be considered. The team work on a range of projects including city centre regeneration schemes, commercial developments, sport/leisure, retail/mixed-use and residential projects. They also have clients in the public sector so can offer a varied and exciting portfolio of work with many of the city's high profile schemes. Your role will include; site visits, site appraisals, feasibility studies, writing planning statements, preparing and submitting planning applications, S106 negotiations, liaising with professional bodies and specialist consultants, assisting with any appeals, client liaison whilst providing the high level of expert town planning advice and consultancy service expected from this team.

You should be confident in client facing situations and in your presentation skills, you should enjoy networking and a busy team environment.
