Job Description

Beach Baker is working with a leading UK property consultancy to recruit a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for a mixed portfolio of properties including Office Buildings, Retail Parks and Industrial Estates based primarily in the Aberdeen area. This person will be based at one of the office buildings in central Aberdeen and travel between the other properties on a regular basis.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for the portfolio including all hard and soft services; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Some of the larger sites in the portfolio have support from a full time Building Manager.

The successful candidate will have previous experience within a multi-site facilities management role and have a strong understanding of service charge budget management. The ability to coordinate and manage on-site contractors for both hard and soft services is essential. The ideal candidate will be a BIFM member and will have previously worked within a managing agent environment.
