We are seeking a driven and professional Land Agent to join the Edinburgh office of a highly respected rural consultancy. This firm has long-standing roots across Scotland and Northern England and is known for delivering high?quality, trusted advice to landowners, farmers, estates and rural businesses

The Opportunity
Based in the Edinburgh office-one of the firm's key hubs-you will be part of a multi?disciplinary rural team offering services across:

  • Agricultural & environmental consultancy
  • Compulsory purchase and utility claims
  • Landlord & tenant matters
  • Planning, development and strategic land advice
  • Forestry and woodland management
  • Property management, valuations, sales and lettings
  • Rural business strategy and consultancy


You will work closely with a broad client base across the region, providing high?quality professional support while helping clients navigate the changing rural landscape.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Manage a varied portfolio of rural properties, estates and agricultural clients
  • Deliver strategic consultancy advice, valuations and land management guidance
  • Negotiate on land, tenancy, access, compensation and development matters
  • Support compulsory purchase and infrastructure projects
  • Provide advice on diversification, grants, rural support schemes and long?term land strategies
  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive and high?quality service


About You
You will excel in this role if you are:

  • Professionally qualified (MRICS) or working towards chartership
  • Experienced in rural surveying, land management or agricultural consultancy
  • A strong communicator with confident client?facing skills
  • Commercially aware and capable of managing diverse workloads
  • Ambitious, motivated and seeking structured career development
