Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a specialist heritage consultant to join an expanding consultancy in Cambridge. This firm are a multi-disciplinary consultancy who offer specialist heritage consultancy advice in relation to residential, mixed-use, commercial, listed building and regeneration schemes.

As this is an expansion role, the opportunity will very much be moulded around the experience and interests of the new recruit so it is an excellent way to join them. We are looking for a qualified heritage consultant and can consider all levels but we do need at least 3 years' experience in heritage consultancy from a built heritage perspective. The team are primarily based in Cambridge but we may also be able to consider a London/northern home counties based candidate and offer some home working/their London office as an alternative base as long as there is some regular presence in Cambridge to enable team collaboration.

Their portfolio of work extends from supporting land promotion through the local plan process for residential, mixed-use and commercial development as well as regeneration and detailed listed building consents. You should be experienced in preparing heritage statements, heritage impact assessments and cultural heritage environmental statements for these kind of projects. Ideally we are also looking for recent or current consultancy experience and a good network of contacts within the industry.
