Are you a RICS Registered Valuer looking to lead a valuation team in Bristol?

A leading property consultancy has instructed Beach Baker to recruit a Head of Valuation to lead their growing team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Valuation Surveyor with at least 10 years' experience to step into a senior leadership role at Associate/Partner level.

Summary of Role:

  • Oversee and manage a team delivering a mix of loan security and regulated purpose valuations for a wide variety of clients.
  • Provide strategic leadership, ensuring the highest quality of service and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a strong market presence in Bristol and the South West/South Wales.
  • Conduct valuations across a range of property types, including commercial, mixed-use, and residential development.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
  • Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm's valuation offering.
  • Offer mentorship and professional development support to junior surveyors within the team.

What We Need from You:

  • RICS-accredited degree in Real Estate or equivalent.
  • MRICS qualification with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
  • RICS Registered Valuer status.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving business growth.
  • A strong track record in commercial valuation, including secured and non-secured lending clients.
  • High level of proficiency in relevant IT packages, including ideally ARGUS software.
  • Strong research, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • A full UK driving licence.
