Beach Baker are delighted to be working a Regional firm of; Rural Surveyors, Letting Agents and Planning Consultants, once again.
We have been exclusively instructed to recruit a General Manager in a role which has been newly created, in order to support the development of the Firm, reporting to the Managing Partner. The successful candidate will need to ensure compliance with all legal requirements, whilst working with Partners and staff across the business, in a 'family feel' environment. You will need to ensure administrative functions required by law are carried out in a proper manner and each requirement is fulfilled.
You'll also be; reporting to HMRC as the nominated money laundering reporting officer, ensuring staff compliance with consumer protection law and GDPR, manage the renewal process for all business insurance and assist the Managing Partner with staffing strategy and staff development, alongside the HR Manager.
Furthermore, you will be expected to take responsibility for office premises - managing leases, repairs and maintenance and other one-off projects.
This is an exciting and diverse opportunity for a General/Office Manager with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills to establish themselves within a well- respected firm. It is anticipated the successful candidate has an Audit/HR background and ideally experience of working within the Agricultural/Property industry.
