Beach Baker is delighted to be working with a global property consultancy in their search for an experienced Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will provide FM support to the Senior managment team and will manage a portfolio of mixed-use properties in the West End.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for a small portfolio including; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation/management of the annual service charge budgets. Other responsibilities will involve negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives. Most importantly, my client is seeking a candidate with a proactive and positive attitude to continue building the client relationship and seek out future business opportunities.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. You must have previous experience within a multi-site facilities management role and have a strong understanding of service charge budget management. The ability to coordinate and manage the onsite contractors is essential, as is the ability to ensure EH&S compliance. The ideal candidate will be a BIFM member and will have worked within a managing agent environment, ideally with a proven service charge budget background.
