Beach Baker is working with a leading multinational property consultancy to recruit a site-based Facilities Manager who will be responsible for the management of an established business and light industrial park on the South Coast, close to Fareham.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for the site, including all hard and soft services; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Other responsibilities will involve negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. You must have previous experience within a multi-site facilities management role and have a strong understanding of service charge budget management. The ability to coordinate and manage on-site contractors is essential, as is the capability to negotiate 'best price'. The ideal candidate will be a BIFM member and will have worked within a managing agent environment.
