Location: London (with travel to sites across the UK)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on a confidential opportunity to recruit a Facilities Manager to support a growing, mixed-asset property portfolio.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, multi-site role overseeing the day-to-day operational management of both commercial and residential properties. You'll ensure buildings are maintained to high standards of safety, compliance, and presentation while supporting the smooth running of a diverse estate.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day FM operations across a mixed commercial and residential portfolio
  • Complete regular site inspections to maintain safety, compliance and presentation standards
  • Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes
  • Coordinate contractors and monitor service delivery
  • Maintain statutory compliance records and support incident reporting
  • Assist with budgets, service charge monitoring and cost control
  • Support mobilisation of new properties and operational handovers
  • Act as a key point of contact for occupiers and internal teams

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2+ years' facilities management or property operations experience
  • Multi‑site experience desirable
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance
  • Confident managing contractors and suppliers
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car
