Facilities Manager
Location: London (with travel to sites across the UK)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Beach Baker is delighted to be instructed on a confidential opportunity to recruit a Facilities Manager to support a growing, mixed-asset property portfolio.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, multi-site role overseeing the day-to-day operational management of both commercial and residential properties. You'll ensure buildings are maintained to high standards of safety, compliance, and presentation while supporting the smooth running of a diverse estate.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day FM operations across a mixed commercial and residential portfolio
- Complete regular site inspections to maintain safety, compliance and presentation standards
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes
- Coordinate contractors and monitor service delivery
- Maintain statutory compliance records and support incident reporting
- Assist with budgets, service charge monitoring and cost control
- Support mobilisation of new properties and operational handovers
- Act as a key point of contact for occupiers and internal teams

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2+ years' facilities management or property operations experience
- Multi‑site experience desirable
- Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance
- Confident managing contractors and suppliers
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
