Beach Baker is currently working with a leading managing agent to recruit an Facilities Manager for a premium business park near Didcot in Oxfordshire.
The Facilities Manager be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the buildings including tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Other responsibilities will involve the implementation of the planned maintenance programme, negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives.
The successful candidate should hold excellent knowledge of the budget process with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage tenant and client relationships. Previous experience working for a managing agent is desirable, and candidates must have a proven track record in managing hard and soft services with contract management skills. BIFM membership and an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification are preferred.
