Beach Baker is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager for a prestigious business and research park in Cambridge, which provides a range of office, laboratory and industrial space to multiple tenants. Working for a leading UK managing agent, the FM will also take responsibility for some other sites in the area.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the business park whilst regularly liaising with occupiers as the main contact for guidance on the operations of the site. They will oversee the contractors on site, ensuring health & safety compliance and assist with the preparation and management of annual service charge budgets. The FM will work closely with the wider property management team to assist in the financial management of the property and report on any occupier issues that need to be addressed.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Facilities Manager who has worked in a managing agent capacity for a similar business park / estate environment. They will need experience in managing service charge budgets, a strong understanding of hard & soft services and an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
