Beach Baker is recruiting for an experienced single site Facilities Manager to manage a Grade A office building in central Birmingham.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the building whilst regularly liaising with occupiers as the principal contact for advice and guidance on the physical operation of the site. They will oversee contractors on site, ensuring health & safety compliance and assist with the preparation and management of annual service charge budgets. The FM will work closely with the property management team to assist in the financial management of the property and report any occupier issues that need to be addressed.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Facilities Manager with experience working in a managing agent capacity for a premium asset building. Experience of working in a new build property and a good understanding of sustainability issues is desirable, along with BIFM membership and an IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
