Job Opportunity: Chartered Estates Surveyor

Salary: £38,119 - £56,563 (Dependent on Experience & Qualifications)
Location: Exeter

The Role:
They are seeking a Chartered Estates Surveyor to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers a standard 37-hour work week (Monday to Friday) along with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including pension options, private healthcare, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Estates Surveyor, you will:

  • Negotiate and finalise property transactions, including sales, acquisitions, leases, licenses, easements, wayleaves, and rent reviews.
  • Carry out valuations, including Local Authority Asset Valuations.
  • Manage rating appeals and handle general estate management duties.

The Ideal Candidate:
To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Real Estate.
  • RICS Registered Valuer status (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A full UK driving license to meet the travel requirements of the role.
