Estates Officer - Property Management


Location: North Devon


Salary: Up to £47,750 per annum

We are currently seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to join the Property Services team of our North Devon Client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in the management of a corporate property estate, providing services such as landlord and tenant advice, valuations, and agency support. You'll also be involved in a range of exciting projects, collaborating with both internal teams and external consultants to achieve the organisation's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Corporate Property Estate, ensuring it is efficiently maintained and fully compliant with all regulations.
  • Provide expert landlord and tenant advice, along with property valuations and agency services.
  • Work alongside internal teams and external consultants to support the delivery of key projects and corporate objectives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the estate's strategy and performance.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Full Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
  • RICS-accredited diploma or degree in Estate Management or a related General Practice field.
  • Registered Valuer with the RICS.
  • Proven management experience or a relevant management qualification, ideally within a technical or property team.
  • In-depth knowledge of property law, estate management practices, and valuation techniques.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines, and manage a varied workload under pressure.
