My client is a premier consultancy firm in the South East, renowned for its expertise in commercial real estate across the UK. Their track record includes completing numerous projects spanning retail, leisure, office, industrial, and warehousing sectors.

With over 50 years of experience, my client offers comprehensive services in commercial real estate, including sales, disposal, acquisition, valuation, management, building consulting, and landlord & tenant services catering to both occupiers and investors.

This role is for a Commercial Property Manager, mainly covering industrial, warehouse, office and retail.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering professional property management services to the firm's clients; reporting to the Head of Property Management; and promoting the firm's services to potential clients.

The successful candidate will have a few years of property management experience, across any asset class.

What will you be doing:

  • Manage recharging of utilities and other property-related charges (outside of service charge and insurance) to appropriate occupiers, including providing backup information where needed.
  • Work with client insurance brokers and accounts to issue the insurance premium recharges to all occupiers including checking leases, tenancies schedules, apportionment, cover, premiums and certificates.
  • Complete lease synopsis sheets following lease renewals, new tenancies etc.
  • Arrange property inspections for 3rd parties as required.
  • Organise regular inspections of all properties to meet tenants, identify works required by lessor or lessee and ensure compliance with lease terms through appropriate action.
  • Specify, tender and manage minor works and maintenance contracts.
  • Liaise with the firm's building surveying, agency and professional teams with respect to related work on managed estates.
  • Assist with lettings on the managed portfolio; and with disposals on managed property sales including completion of CPSEs.
