Job Description

Beach Baker is working with a growing regional property team to recruit an experienced Senior Commercial Property Management Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for a varied commercial portfolio across Cornwall and Devon, working in a friendly and sociable environment with genuine flexibility.

The Role

You will manage a substantial mixed commercial portfolio, taking full ownership of day‑to‑day management, client relationships and service delivery. The work is varied and includes office, retail and light industrial assets.

Key duties include:

  • Managing a diverse commercial property portfolio
  • Tenant liaison, lease management and compliance
  • Organising inspections, maintenance and H&S
  • Preparing and overseeing service charge budgets
  • Managing lease events, rent reviews and L&T matters
  • Providing high-quality service to both clients and occupiers
  • Working independently with minimal supervision

This role is ideal for someone confident, professional and proactive who enjoys responsibility and autonomy.

About You

We are looking for:

  • MRICS‑qualified surveyors, consideration given to candidates working towards APC
  • Strong knowledge of commercial property management
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, client-focused approach

Salary & Benefits

  • £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience
  • 33 days' holiday (including bank holidays)
