Beach Baker is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Commercial Property Agent to join a growing and ambitious property business in Dorset.
This is a genuinely interesting opportunity for a commercially minded surveyor who enjoys doing deals, developing client relationships and generating new business, but would like greater autonomy, variety and the opportunity to make a real impact within an entrepreneurial environment.
The successful candidate will work across occupational agency, investment and development, advising a broad range of property clients and becoming an important part of the continued growth of the agency offering.
The business is deliberately flexible on seniority and is interested in speaking with experienced transactional surveyors from Associate or Director level.
The opportunity
- Commercial property sales, lettings and acquisitions
- Investment and occupational agency work
- Development-related instructions and opportunities
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying and winning new instructions
- Providing commercially focused property advice
- Undertaking inspections, viewings and negotiations
- Helping to grow the agency offering and target larger transactions
- Working closely with an experienced and entrepreneurial property team
For a more senior candidate, there is genuine scope to play an important role in the continued development of the agency business, helping to shape its future direction and growth.
About you
The business is deliberately flexible on level and is much more interested in finding the right individual than recruiting to a particular job title.
You are likely to have:
- Good commercial property agency experience
- A strong transactional background
- Experience within occupational agency, investment, development or a combination of these areas
- Strong client relationship and negotiation skills
- A commercial outlook and appetite for winning new business
- The confidence to manage your own instructions and transactions
- The ability to build relationships and spot new opportunities
- A background within an established property consultancy or commercial property business
MRICS would be advantageous, although relevant experience, market knowledge and a strong commercial track record are equally important.
