Job Description

Chartered Surveyor - Rural Asset Management (Bristol)

Are you ready to build a career in the infrastructure property sector? We're seeking a Chartered Surveyor to join a growing and ambitious team, working on a diverse portfolio of rural assets-primarily agricultural and equine-while providing strategic estate management advice to major infrastructure clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities in a role that offers flexibility, career progression, and a competitive benefits package.

What You'll Do

  • Manage rural assets, including direct engagement with clients, tenants, and contractors.
  • Handle renewals, rent reviews, and maintenance works, particularly Farm Business Tenancies and Common Law Tenancies.
  • Conduct land and property valuations.
  • Oversee property lettings and tender processes.
  • Carry out site visits and inspections.
  • Provide strategic portfolio advice, including diversification and disposals.
  • Support continuous improvement of internal systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.

What We're Looking For

  • RICS-qualified with experience in rural surveying.
  • Ideally a RICS Registered Valuer and probationer of the CAAV.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (travel required).
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

What's on Offer

  • Highly competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexible benefits tailored to your lifestyle (e.g., additional leave, health cash plans, cycle-to-work scheme).
  • Agile and flexible working arrangements considered.
  • Opportunities for career development within a growing team.

Join a supportive team that values professionalism, innovation, and growth. If you're ambitious and ready to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
