Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Associate Town Planner to join a successful consultancy based in their Gloucestershire office.

You will be joining an established team who work on a range of residential, rural and commercial developments. The workload offers a good spread of both development management focussed work and projects involving promotion/local plan representations etc. The team are friendly and supportive with a well-established client base. Part of this role will also be to mentor and manage two junior planners.

We are looking for a chartered town planner (MRTPI qualified) with a good working knowledge of development management and policy. We are open to experience from both the public and private sector. Local candidates are preferred but relocators will be considered for the right person. You will ideally have a good range of project experience but residential is a key area for them so experience in this sector is advantageous. You should be comfortable running your own projects and developing work from leads/contacts. There is a good pipeline of work for you to get stuck in to and some really interesting schemes to be part of.

You will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package including good benefits (car allowance, private health care, pension etc) and a good bonus scheme. This role is a rewarding opportunity where you will have the chance to be involved in the growth of team/office, building on your management experience whilst giving you hands on planning exposure.

To confidentially apply for this role please contact Ruth Hoggett (ruth@beachbaker.co.uk). By clicking apply, please be assured that your CV will not be sent to the client until you have been fully briefed on the role and given permission for us to do so. We will confidentially retain your details and inform you of any other suitable opportunities arising should you not be successful in this role.
