My client is a market-leading company that focus on leisure and trading valuations. As a key member of the valuation team specialising in the Hospitality sector in the UK, your role involves providing comprehensive valuation services for businesses and going concern properties.

Valuation Services: Your primary responsibility is to conduct valuations of businesses and properties within the Hospitality sector. This involves analysing financial statements, market trends, and other relevant data to determine the fair market value of these assets.

Client Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with major clients, banks, investors, accountants, and operators is essential. You'll need to understand their needs, communicate effectively, and provide tailored valuation solutions to meet their requirements.

Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes impacting the Hospitality sector in the UK. This knowledge will inform your valuation methodologies and ensure accuracy in your assessments.

Collaboration with Experts: Work closely with other members of the valuation team who may have expertise in finance, real estate, or specific subsectors within the Hospitality industry. Collaborative efforts will enhance the quality of valuations and provide clients with comprehensive insights.

Valuation Methodologies: Utilize a range of valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions to determine fair market value. Tailor these methodologies based on the unique characteristics of each asset and prevailing market conditions.

You'll contribute to the success of the valuation team and provide valuable insights to clients in the Hospitality sector across the UK.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant Real Estate Degree
  • RICS Chartered Status
  • A minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Knowledge of trade sector and current market trends
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations, Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations, Estate Agents Act and Money Laundering Regulations
