My specialism:

Retained and executive search within the property and real estate markets, especially general practice surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors qualification. I also deliver contingency recruitment services for roles outside retained search work.

Clients that I work with:

I recruit RICS accredited surveyors for global property consultancies, property companies, developers, investors and institutions as well as initiating team and small company acquisitions. This includes surveyors working in the following disciplines: Agency, Asset Management, Capital Markets, Development, Property & Estate Management, Lease Consultancy and Valuation. I also recruit in niche and alternative asset classes such as Student, Hotels, Healthcare, Build to Rent etc.

What keeps me motivated:

The satisfaction of creating a new opportunity for someone is very motivating especially if it’s an off-market piece of recruitment. I’m also genuinely motivated by developing new business relationships and recruitment partnerships.

What I do differently:

I believe in a positive and supportive work culture with a focus on wellbeing and teamwork, which often results in high achievement.

What keeps me busy at the weekend:

I have young children so weekends are generally pretty busy... but I have hiked and scrambled parts of the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia, The South West Coastal Path and Grampian Mountains. I'm a member of Redland Tennis Club and supporter of Bristol Bears Rugby Club. I try to keep fit at the gym, running and paddle boarding when time allows. I also enjoy films, travel, architecture and history as well as cooking a good meal and socialising with friends and family.

My approach to recruitment:

I like to understand and listen to clients and I welcome an honest, open conversation. My approach to recruitment centres on my network of contacts and knowledge of the sector.

My favourite food:

Green Thai curry.

My favourite eatery:

For a special occasion its hard to beat Wilks in Redland with their fantastic food and superb service.

My favourite film:

Its difficult to choose as I'm a big fan but Gravity is probably up there as a recent very good film.

My favourite drink:

IPA beer.

My favourite travel destinations:

The Cornish coast & Italian region of Tuscany.

Not many people know this about me:

My Auntie Helen was Prime Minister of New Zealand for ten years.
