A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a leading consultancy in Bristol. This firm have an excellent reputation and are one of the leading teams in Bristol. The company are a multi-disciplinary and the planning teams is part of a larger office with a host of other property and planning related disciplines.

This position would suit an established planner looking for a new challenge with a progressive firm offering a wide range of work. You will be joining a reputable firm with a long-standing client base of both public and private sector clients. The work will be a mix of residential, mixed-use, environmental and commercial schemes. Projects can vary in size from small-medium scale schemes right up to very large urban extensions and they boast some of the most influential projects in the South West.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates coming from the private sector, but we are open to local authority experience if candidates can demonstrate a good understanding of development management led work. Ideally you will be MRTPI (or very close to achieving it) and have a mix of project experience to be able to cope with the workload described above.

Candidates should have a good academic record and strong report writing skills. You should be a confident communicator and be comfortable in client facing situations.
