An opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership for a mixed used commercial portfolio for a market leader.
Our client is a globally recognised property management company with a strong reputation for delivering excellent customer service to its tenants. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Facilities Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of commercial properties in the Hertfordshire area, including a large multi-let development in Hemel Hempstead, on behalf of a UK investment property fund.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for the portfolio including; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Other responsibilities will involve negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives. This person will also manage an Assistant FM based at the Hemel site.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. You must have previous experience within a multi-site facilities management role and have a strong understanding of service charge budget management. The ability to coordinate and manage the onsite contractors is essential, as is the capability to negotiate 'best price'. The ideal candidate will be a BIFM member and will have worked within a managing agent environment.
