Beach Baker is recruiting for an experienced single site Facilities Manager for a prestigious City of London building. This role is working for a leading UK managing agent on a trophy asset for one of its overseas investor clients. It is a modern multi-tenanted 244,000 sq. ft. property with a BREEAM Excellent rating and is fully let to high profile corporate occupiers.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the site whilst regularly liaising with occupiers as the principal contact for advice and guidance on the physical operation of the building. They will oversee contractors on site, ensuring health & safety compliance and assist with the preparation and management of annual service charge budgets. The FM will work closely with the property management team to assist in the financial management of the property and report any occupier issues that need to be addressed.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced client-facing Facilities Manager who has delivered a premium service within a similar trophy asset environment to corporate tenants. They should have prior managing agent experience and the ability to prepare and monitor service charge budgets. BIFM membership and IOSH or NEBOSH certification is preferred.
