Beach Baker is working with a leading multinational property consultancy to recruit a Facilities Manager who will be responsible for a portfolio of industrial estates across Hertfordshire and Berkshire. This person will be based from home and travel between the properties on a regular basis.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the portfolio including all hard and soft services; tenant liaison, contractor management, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Other responsibilities will involve negotiation of contractor agreements and implementation of environmental initiatives.
The successful candidate should have previous experience within a multi-site facilities management role, ideally working for a managing agent. They should have excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate and manage on-site contractors and to negotiate 'best price'. A H&S qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH and a BIFM membership is preferred.
